Current Status

Seambiotic's pilot plant project has proven accomplishment in the following areas:

• Seambiotic is the first company in the world with proprietary technology for growing marine
  microalgae in open ponds on electric power plant flue gas at feasible cost, for the purpose of
  producing nutritional supplements for human consumption and bio-energy products.
• Seambiotic, in collaboration with the IEC, is the first company in the world to successfully
  connect directly to an electric company smokestack for direct consumption of CO2.
• Seambiotic found a way at feasible cost to reduce pollution from an electric company's
  smokestack, thus making our world cleaner and offering electric power plants the ability to reduce pollution and remain within required pollution standards.
• Seambiotic is the first company in the world that was able to successfully grow microalgae for
  bio-ethanol and bio-diesel, using CO2 wastes from an electric power plant and sea-water.
  Seambiotic is apparently the only company in the world with the ability to grow microalgae at a
  low and reasonable cost for the purpose of producing the biomass necessary for making bio-fuel.
• Seambiotic has a head start of more then 5 years in its research and development over its
  competition in the field of microalgae.
• Seambiotic has managed to reduce the risk of investment in bio-energy products, since the
  company will simultaneously be producing microalgae for production of Omega 3 fatty acids and
  other highly priced microalgae products in Israel.
  Seambiotic is currently in the process performing of a study that will enable it to reduce costs of cultivation and production, thus making the whole procedure economical, and becoming the first company in the world to commercially produce bio-energy products from microalgae.
