Business Development

Seambiotic was established in 2003 with an objective to create financial growth from its proprietary technology regarding the cultivation and processing of marine microalgae. With this process, Seambiotic has developed and proven that its revolutionary technology can produce large quantities of bio-fuels from marine microalgae. The Company currently holds patents on the know-how & technology.

The Company's invention provides a method for growing photosynthetic organisms using flue gases from a fossil-fuel power plants. In the first aspect of the invention, there is a method of growing photosynthetic organisms on flue gases from power plants. The gases are currently treated by desulphurization. In a preferred embodiment of this aspect of the invention, the carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration of the flue gases is significantly increased over the CO2 concentration as released from the power plant.

Algae is a source of many benefits, including, but not limited to, vitamins, protein, food, food additives, fine chemicals, animal feed, agricultural fertilisers, fuel and more. The global marine microalgae market is a multi billion industry and is rapidly expanding. The farming and processing will be undertaken utilizing Seambiotic's new and proprietary technology, while exploiting existing resources that have been provided by the Israel Electric Company's Power plant.
Seambiotic has established its plant in Ashkelon, Israel. The plant is a sophisticated, highly secure and fully operational state of the art research facility. Testing has commenced on the proprietary technology and has been proven successful. Seambiotic's corporate headquarters are located in Tel Aviv, Israel, in the Azrieli Towers.

Seambiotic believes that it can supply the global market with a superior quality marine microalgae at lower cost. Additionally, by virtue of the cultivation method, Seambiotic can also contribute to preserving environmental quality and cleanliness.
