About Us

Seambiotic operates pilot plant comprising about a 1,000 m² of ponds at the power plant of the Israeli Electric Corportaion in Ashkelon.
The unique production of marine microalgae is based on the use of different types of flue gas from smokestack accumulating outdoor experience with various types of coals.

Quantities of the harvested algae from the Ashkelon power plant were sent to laboratories, factories and research authorities for the extraction and processing of oils and sugars to bio-diesel and bio-ethanol respectively.

Seambiotic is currently in transition from the pilot plant stage to large scale industrial algae cultivation and production.

The use of flue gas will reduce CO2 pollution from the power station and thus minimizing global warming.
