Mr. Amnon Bechar - CEO
Entrepreneur within the field of derma-cosmetics and biotechnology in a number of projects.
Mr. Amnon Bechar functioned as Marketing and Business Development Director in a number of projects such as the establishment of a leading MLM marketing systems of food additives in Israel, a biotechnology project, cultivating organisms as a medical food additive and managing the project from concept up to NASDAQ IPO of $30 million by market value.
Mr. Amnon Bechar is a Hebrew University graduate, majoring Pharmacology.
Mr. Herman Weiss - CTO
Entrepreneur within the field of derma-cosmetics and biotechnology in a number of projects.
Mr. Herman Weiss functioned as the Scientific Director in a number of projects such as the cultivation of e.coli bacterium as a medical food additive, development of a dermatological range of products for various skin ailments and R&D in the field of diabetes.
Mr. Herman Weiss currently functions as the Coordinator of Scientific activity for Seambiotic.
Mr. Herman Weiss is a Hebrew University graduate, majoring Pharmacology.
Prof. Ami Ben-Amotz, Chief Adviser
A world renowned expert in the area of marine-algae research, with a PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Have 30 years seniority in the field of marine-algae research. Present functions:
Advisor the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Scientific Director of the Dunaliella plant NBT, Eilat, Israel.
Noam Menczel, Director of Investor's Relations & Business Development
Noam joined Seambiotic in 2007. His career includes over 30 years in Finance, Commerce and Administration of multinational companies. From 2000 to 2006 Noam was the C.F.O. and Vice President of Administration of Lenslet Ltd., a start-up in the Electro-Optic-Communications field.
Prior to Lenslet, Mr. Menczel was the C.F.O. and the Director of Operations at AbirNet Ltd. AbirNet, a start-up company in the software security space. Mr. Menczel was responsible for a successful M&A that led to a sale of the company to Memco Ltd., a NASDAQ traded company that was later sold to C.A.
His background also includes finance positions in Koor Industries companies: Alda Foreign Trade Ltd, Koor Trade Ltd, and RAFAEL Ltd. Noam Menczel hold a degree in accounting and finance from the Tel-Aviv University.
Etai Ivery, Project Mgr of Seambiotic site
Since 2006 until today Mr. Etai Ivery is the Project Manager at the Seambiotic Ltd. pilot site in Ashkelon.
Prior to that, Mr. Etai Ivery was General Operation Manager at SeaOr Marine Enterprises Ltd. (2000-2005). As the General Operation Manager Mr. Ivery has planned and managed the foundation of a farm using an environmental friendly ecological combined system.
Moshe Cohen, Head Biologist
Moshe Cohen is managing and performing microalgae cultivation indoor and outdoor. Conductiong analytical methods concerning microalgae parameters, research planning and software assimilation
Moshe has an academic experience in research in Life Sciences from Ben Gurion University.
